The Venezuelan opposition has been called fascist, bourgeois, parasite, Pharisee, apátrida, less than human, and hypocrite. But it is clearly also not an improvised opposition, as it has been planning since 2003 the economic war the government claims is being waged against the Fatherland.
“They have been for ten years planning this economic war against the Revolution. Comandante Chávez was such a visionary that a long time ago he had already alerted us to this strategy of the Venezuelan ultra-right,” declared the President of INDEPAVIS (price controls agency) Eduardo Samán.
The declarations were made during a government sponsored “Forum against the Economic War,” held yesterday in the State of Vargas.
